"Bringing good brewed and specialty coffee to all Filipinos. Coffee starts at P10 for a hot brew. Bring your own cup to save P5. We are in the business of creating local jobs, supporting local coffee farmers, and encouraging locals to switch to healthier locally brewed coffee instead of foreign-owned 3 in 1 instant coffees at a price point similar to instant coffee prices at carinderias and canteens. Profits are secondary to those three mission goals. We cater to the farmers, day laborers, tricycle, bus, truck drivers. We do not cater to the coffee snobs or coffee junkies."

This is how KOPI KUBO COLLECTIVE describe their business and indeed it is true.  With a total of 9 branches across Zambales this haven for coffee lovers and environmentally conscious people is something that would really inspire you. During my visit to Zambales with the Chairman of the Green Party of the Philippines, Hilary Pangan together with our better halves, I have the opportunity to visit one branch in Botolan, Zambales.

I could have stayed longer and I wanted to stay longer but we came from a very tiring day during the campaign period where I am running as a Senator of the Philippines.  I decided to explore the place, order some coffee, and marvel at the awesomeness.

You could actually just sit at the site of the road, enjoy nature while drinking a cup of brewed coffee at an affordable price.  So whenever you are in Zambales don't forget to visit Kopi Kubo Collective.
